I'm honestly so curious about all these freaking things.
So why is the only male ant we've seen in Four's colony the only male ant amongst the females? What's with his scars? Why is he expected to be the way he is with his sisters and the other females, when clearly, the OTHER males of their colony are in a very different circumstance? In Sugar's hive, he appeared to just kind of do as he pleased within certain rules, which included only being out to see his princess, and hanging with the other drones, who seemed to all be pretty and pampered. Is the only reason that having issues with motivation for Four is as serious as it is because he's not apart of the other males of his colony? Is it a serious problem because the other males of Four's colony spend their lives similar to the other males of Sugar's colony? Where motivation isn't really a thing they worry about because their job is to look pretty, be pretty, and tend to their princesses needs?
PUCK. Y U DO DIS TO ME. I have QUESTIONS.

Everyone in the hive has a job. Four is a male, but not a drone.
The drones don't have to do much, but they have practically no freedom and judging by how those females approached Four in the cantina, they probably can't refuse anyone who wants to mate. Thus, I assume if Four is no longer contributing as a worker/soldier, he might be forced to contribute differently. Or, his punishment for getting lazy might be the same as any female would get... Which may or may not be execution.
(Not quite true to nature, where drones only mate with the princesses of other colonies during nuptial flight and then die. But I guess things work differently for some species. For example there is a species of ant that doesn't have queens but a dominant worker female that castrates other workers to prevent them from becoming rivals.)

I have a feeling that Sugar is going to get blamed for this. I mean he just wanted Four to relax, heal, and feel good and he knew how to get him to do that. But now Four is catching feelings, and just wants to stay chillax with Sugar doing naughty things.
