Well, but. If she took her daughter back with her daughter's status, she'd have an irrational and spiteful rival queen at some point. She was neutralising the threat before she caused more damage. Autumn had almost already started a war by her own negligence and grudges, and it's likely too dangerous to allow that to continue. Spring's warning takes on a stronger tone in retrospect.
